Mary Beth Beuke

Mary Beth Beuke is owner of West Coast Sea Glass, a company which specializes in jewelry made of genuine, hand picked, high quality sea glass from all over the world.  She has been designing jewelry for over 25 years and speaks and teaches at seminars and beachcomber's festivals.

MB, who has recently been featured in both National Geographic and Coastal Living magazine, is currently the president of the North American Sea Glass Association.  She appraises and identifies sea glass by color, condition & history.

As a native of the Pacific Ocean coast, Mary Beth spent most of her childhood beachcombing.  Her 20 year career as a professional youth program director took her outdoors and on the water; kayaking, water skiing, white water rafting, organizing camps & beach cleanups etc.  Now her years of hunting for sea glass from beaches all over the world mixed with miles of kayaking and years of study about sea glass' condition, history and rarity, has taught her that what she's gathered is an unparalleled treasure trove.

Now she’s paired her vast, rare collection with artistic design and form.  After studying metal work and silver smithing, MB manages the West Coast Sea Glass studio from along Washington State's Puget Sound where she looks out over Pacific Ocean’s waters and San Juan Islands.
