Jennifer Reed & Terri Reed-Boyer

Jennifer and Terri are sisters who grew up a “stones-throw” away from Lake Erie.  Having majored in metalsmithing and art in college, they were able to create a business combining their skills, talents and love for beach glass.  In 1996, they started Relish, Inc., a home-based jewelry design studio.

As word spread, orders multiplied, and two years later they rented a small retail space.  Returning often to the beach with their young children in tow, they scoured the sand for the elusive, transformed bits of glass.  They carried garbage bags to fill, in part to help keep the shores free from litter and debris, but also to give back to the community that was supporting their art.

In 2001, they opened a new 3,000 square foot studio and gallery.  Jennifer and Terri's passion remains the same:  to create beautiful jewelry in sterling silver and 14k gold, using pieces of genuine found Lake Erie beach glass.

Terri and Jennifer were featured in the Sept./Oct. 2002 issue of Coastal Living magazine.  The article was instrumental in gaining them recognition on a national level, and Relish has now become a destination for people seeking creative, one of a kind, custom art pieces of beach glass jewelry across the United States and Canada.
